We are from out of town and stumbled upon this great friendly establishment. Bryan was a fantastic bartender and server. Extremely personable. We came back the next day and met his better half Danielle the owner. The food was great in addition to all the friendly staff that was eager to help each other out. This is our new home away from home watering hole. We highly recommend it-we might move here now. Last time we visited in 2009 it was named Up Country. We have been driving by daily but reluctant to stop as there never seemed to be many cars in the parking lot. Friends have been saying “You have to stop in and try the wings!” What were we waiting for?! I almost don’t want to write this review because the secret will be out. This place is a hidden Gem! We were seated immediately. Dining room was quiet, warm and clean. Stopped for wings and a beer and stayed for more beer, onion rings and pretzel. Everything was served hot and tasted great! Server and bartender (Go Buffalo!) were attentive and friendly. I am looking forward to my next meal at Abenaki. We may have found our new watering hole...

We found this place, which appeared kind of removed from the streets, not too fancy. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady, who asked us what kind of table we would prefer. The bartender then came over and introduced himself and took our drink order, asking if we liked vodka spritzers. We ended up ordering a drink that he had made up on his own that day, and was very happy we did as it was delicious. my fiance ordered steak tips and I had the Tuckerman ravine chicken. Both meals were delicious. The bartender/waiter was super friendly, checking in on us occasionally to make sure that we were happy. After being hesitant based on the view from the street, we are so happy that we stopped in. Between the super friendly staff and the absolutely delicious food and cocktails, we will definitely be stopping back for our next visit in the area.

What a great find. !!! Just driving by and thought we should check it out. Our waiter Bryan is super friendly, very knowledgeable about the restaurant and menu. Gave excellent recommendations. The atmosphere, decor and don’t forget the poutine reminded me of home !!! The chicken salad sandwich was the best I’ve ever had. Poutine sauce was on point , although the cheese is usually on top. ;). In this case I didn’t care it was that good. !!!! It reminded me of my childhood skiing with my family in Quebec. Menu has something for everyone!!!! Thank you so much Bryan for the awesome service.!!!!!

We had the honey scallops and the surf and turf. The honey scallops were cooked perfect with just the right amount of bread crumbs on top. The coleslaw was super fresh and broccoli was delicious. The surf and turf was huge! So many scallops and a huge steak. Perfect medium rare on the steak and again the scallops were cooked just right. Drinks were amazing too. Will be back before we head home
